Once I figured out how to put this thing together, it works out just fine. Not sure about the space saving idea but to each their own. Each clip has it's own grippers to firmly but gently hold your items. The clips are also rather strong and I have a bit of a hard time with my arthritic hands opening them. It is nice having all my pants /skirts in one place. That much is a plus in the organization part. Instructions are difficult to understand and thus making assembly a bit of a pain. That's the only reason I docked it a star is for the assembly pain and lack of clear instructions. Other than that, not too shabby.

A handy gadget for your wardrobe. My wife really liked this skirt hanger for its functionality and the fact that it saves space in the wardrobe and allows you to normally view the skirts that hang on it when needed. A good purchase.

This is made of cheap plastic, except for the metal arms. I don't think it is saving any space at all. Quite disappointing.
