Steps for Replacing Filter Element
Step 1
- Rotate to the Left to Remove the Protective Case and Filter Cup.
Step 2
- Rotate to the Left to Remove the 5 Micron Cartridge for Replacement.
Step 3
- Replace it with the New Filter Element.
Step 4
- Install the Protective Case and Filter Cup Back into Place.

I am in full agreement from a user of the 1/4" model (mine is for 3/8"). He said, " I cannot tighten the gauge to the filter - due to the design, I'd need an adapter to extend the gauge from the filter housing. Unless you want to order additional parts, I would not recommend." This is a definite design flaw and finding the additional parts won't be easy. I was able to tighten in the gauge, but good luck trying to remove the water collector cup on down the road.Both the female quick connect coupling and the male coupling leaked air and this was after tightening both of them sufficiently. I have worked in the construction business for over forty years and I know how to wrap teflon around threads and tighten fittings, so this was not a matter of not doing it properly.I really wanted to like this product. It came with a great collection of accessories, including an extra filter. If it functioned properly and the design for the air pressure gauge was better, I would rate it a 5 because of everything that comes with it. I will probably be returning it but I am running one last test to see how long it takes the leaks to kick the compressor back on. I have already sent them an email and I hope they read this review. Depending on their response, I might modify this review and keep the product.

I am using this in my shop to regulate and dry the air in my pneumatic system. It's being used on a single drop, not to protect the whole system, and it is working great so far. The build quality is good, the value for the money is there, and it is easy to use.

The quality is nice, it contains everything you need to get it hooked up to your compressor and lines. Even comes with an extra filter and the filter is easily replaced. The major gripe that I have, is the way the company packed it. It is packed in polystyrene without a exact fit for anything. The gauge was just rolling around in the package not wrapped in any protective packaging. Luckily nothing was damaged, but this isn't the way you want to ship product. They need to fix this oversight, or they will get a bunch of returns due to damaged product. I'll say be wary and asses your need, or find another product that fits your needs. I'm giving it 3 stars for the filter/gauge. Taking to stars off for packaging.
