First, the customer support is very responsive. However the SIM card simply does not work reliably in a dedicated hot spot or an iPad mini as a hot spot. I did get it to work for a day or so then no more connection. Contacted support and was informed that that carrier “does not guarantee it to work in a hot spot”. So it ended up being useless for me

This will let you use Google maps to show where you are, it does not let you search or get directions, sonit really serves no purpose. Also, the instructions on set up and use are of no help. I would not recommend this product.

I bought this product for a trip to Taiwan. I activated the card and followed the instructions. I went to put the card in while on flight to Taipei and the card was not even close to being the right size. I was stuck without being able to use this SD card at all and at this point have missed the return period. Shame on me for trying to be overly prepared in advance for a very important trip. Do not bother ordering from Amazon for this product, you can purchase directly from Klook and pickup at the airport. They will even install theirs for you.

This is 3rd party sim card borrowing theTaiwan local phone company network, it is not the sim card for local company. The usage of 34d party sim card is not reliable.My ordered sim card only has roaming, no 3g or 4g data, so it is useless. I followed the provided instructions, and I even contacted their support. What they tell me is to use roaming!!! I need to get my money back and buy from the airport. They have the real sim card.

it works, right after I landed in Taipei airport. data connection immediately established after I landed. I actually don't need to make any setting changes.I visited some of the rural areas still have connection to Google map and search. it is much cheaper than the purchased I did from airport before. will purchase this again next time. save time and money.
