I've been wanting to learn how to crochet and decided to give this kit a try. I've used a Woobles kit before but they can sometimes be a bit pricey so I wasn't sure about this one. It comes with everything you need which is great, however, I feel like the instructions could be a bit more detailed. Overall, this is a good kit for beginners, but if you're using it with kids, it would be helpful to have someone already experienced with crochet be available in case they have questions or need help.

I enjoyed this kit! I'm new to crocheting and have gotten a few kits to try. It comes everything you need including written instructions and a book of stitches. The yarn is soft and easy to work with. It makes a great gift for friends and family. It was a reasonable priced fit for how cute and fun it was to make and share.

I am teaching my four granddaughters how to crochet. They have been asking for a year or two, but I wanted to wait until they were all at least 6. Now they are 10, 9, 7, and 6. I got a bunch of these, and I am showing them all how to crochet. They have been having a blast. I would recommend these if you have grandchildren who want to learn to crochet.

I ordered these "beginners" crochet kit because it says you can make 3 items out of it and for the price, It is such a steal. They are complete with yarn, hook, needles, keychain, pins and a glue stick to use for a glue gun. Glue gun is not included and maybe there are other ways to use it. You will use the glue for the 2 pairs of the eyes and I don't why one out of 3 pairs of eyes, just one of them is not glue. Maybe it is cheaper but I wish the eyes are glueless. The yarn is the multi layered one and might be a little hard for first timer. Also, the QR code on the manual is not working! I tried 3 different devices and I had to just do what I know. I could not do the mouth of the orange cat because I could not access the video. It is a small plushies. There are positive and negative but without the video I feel like it is not good.

I am a failed novice at knitting and crocheting. I have tried many times to take up yarn work and I keep failing.This kit was a great purchase for me as it came with everything I needed for the craft, but more importantly for me, the instruction booklets not only had written instructions and photos, but both the basic "this is how to crochet", as well as the pattern for the cats, had GR codes to step by step videos on how to complete the projects!I am currently working through my first cat.Slowly.As I utterly fail at yarn.But the videos are a HUGE bonus for me as I can rewatch as many times as I need to in order to understand how to set the stiches, count them, make sure I am on the correct row, and how to read the pattern instructions.For a beginner - this set is amazing with the information it provides you.I also really like that it provides you with all of the things you will need in order to completely create the craft. The key ring, the filling for the cats, the eyes, the needles you'll need to stitch items together....the only thing that wasn't mentioned is that you will need a small glue gun. They do provide a glue stick...but they don't mention that you will need the glue gun already.Overall this kit is great for those who want to try something for the first time as it has everything right there all at once. It would also be a great gift for someone who is just starting crocheting or yarn work - again due to the fact that the kit is so well put together.I really am very pleased with this product.Now to get better at my stitching so I can be pleased with MY output. LOL.

Pros: Cute pattern and came with enough materials to make three cats. Almost all the needed tools are included, although you might want a hot glue gun (a glue stick is included).Cons: The instructions are not as detailed or step by step as I would have expected for a beginner kit. They aren’t bad, but for someone who has truly never done crochet before they were not detailed enoughOverall: Worth getting, but be prepared to spend some additional time looking up tutorials online and practicing.

This kit has everything needed to crochet 3 adorable kitty's and have leftover yarn. My wife followed the written and video instructions for the beige/brown kitten. She considers herself a moderately skilled crocheter. The paper instructions were a bit unclear at times. For a beginner you would definitely need the video to understand some things. ie: the paper does not state to start with a magic ring - a beginner may not know this. There are easier videos online of cats that look very similar.Also, by the time you get to the point of the attached picture, you still have not attached the eyes......they just "appear" in the video. After watching the orange cat video, the host says to either glue them on with the included hot glue, or add them before you close it......but by this time, you are almost finished. My wife and I do NOT like to glue on eyes because they are a choking hazard for young children. We would give it 4 stars though, because she can use all of the tools for her much easier pattern she found online.
