This water bowl works as described with a few functional quirks. The floating disk design works well and allows for about 1-2 tablespoons of water to flow on to the disk which prevents your dog from gulping water and leaves less splash back on your dog's fur and on the floor.The bowl is easily refillable as the disk will float when you add water to the bowl; however, if you are like me and want to ensure that there is no sediment sitting at the bottom of the bowl, you will need to take the bowl apart by removing the plastic ring on the top of the dish and then pull up the interior floating disk which is not easy because there are no handles to pull the disk up.Overall, my dog does well with this bowl and it prevents splash back and slurping.

Excellent bowl for dogs. It is decent sized for smaller and medium sized dogs without needing to refill right away. It seems well made the color is nice too.
