Don't waste your time and money on this bird. You can't understand most of what it says and it only reacts to voice commands. I was under the impression that it would flap its wings and move around without talking to it. The battery cover has no snap or velcro to keep it shut so it just falls when you pick it up.

It's not great, but it's only for a 2 year old. How great does it need to be?It's not cuddly at all since it has the little box inside that makes it repeat what is said. And the little voice repeats ones tone better than the words themselves. It's just ok but I wouldn't buy it again.

The bottom flap that covers the battery chamber does not stay in place. It just hangs loose. The bird does mimic talking and the wings flap.

Looked cheap in its original packaging. Product felt like it was of poor quality (even for $20). Toy failed to move or make a sound despite fitting new Energizer batteries and flicking the switch off and on. Same result with new Eveready batteries. No instructions to refer to in case of user error (although I doubt this). I do not recommend this product.
