The number of patches and variety are great. The plastic case is pretty flimsy though. You'd want to divide up the patches and only carry what you think you'll need in your kit for the road. Also, I wouldn't trust the plastic tire tools on the road unless you're in a pinch (better to get metal ones).So yes, I recommend the it for the patches alone. Ignore the case and the plastic tools. Honestly they could have left these out of the kit as many bike tool kits already include metal tire tools.The "pre-glued" patches weren't tested. The vulcanized rubber patches showed good bonding however.

It is good to have a supply of patches and glue on hand - particularly the glue. I've often needed to patch a tube but find that the glue has all dried up. This is enough patches to last me years, and enough glue to last half the time. The case is hard to close because all the items squirm about, so I'll need to transfer them to another container.
