These work pretty well but...After a few months it has rolled up a bit where the bass pedal clamps onto the hoop. I tend to be very careful when attaching the pedal, but it it came up a bit and wrinkled over time. I suppose I'll need to remove it and replace it with another...

Got a new kit with a wood bass drum hoop. Thus helps protect the wood on the pedal. Iām also adding a Yamaha EAD10 to the top of my hoop and these will come in handy. Definitely worth it, bang for the buck-wise.

These are cheap, but they will save you far more money than they cost! They protect the hoop effectively, and IMO they keep the kick from sliding around so much better (with even less tension). Great little must have for drummers of any skill level
