The hog nail pliers seem to be good quality. I gave 3 stars because there was absolutely no instructions on how to load the staples if that’s what u call them! I had to go online to learn how to load it. The little box the staple things were in, came open so they were scattered throughout the mailing box.

Little awkward to use at 1st but once you get the hang of it you will love it. I had to build a chicken coop and used it to fasten pieces of chicken wire together to cover the outer perimeter of the run.

I actually like these hog pliers. They really save time when applying rings on a numerous occasion. The only pull back I have on them at this time, is that sometimes you may need to assist is opening up the plier a bit more to get the next ring loaded and the other small personal issue is the small size of the rings.As far as the small size of the ring, I put personal because this may work fine depending on the application you are using them for. Other than that, i think they are quite nice.

The item is collated hog ring staples for a manual use tool. Nothing fancy, just functional. For me, a lifetime supply at a great price.

Take your time, align the tool and the wires you are connecting, and it works well. Consider approaching a planned joint from other directions if your first attempt (before crimping) doesn’t feel right. In a hurry? Don’t bother with this tool as you will end up frustrated and unhappy.
