Bought this bike for my son and This bike came already in first gear and flew into my brand new truck first start. The tires were terrible on side walks and the street. No problem in the grass…no good in a damp field. Also Very very small bike. Like 8-9 year old size bike. But it did pick up some speed. Resold at a $300 loss because of the damage from hitting my dang truck!

We've had this bike for 4 years. We've had it in and out of the mechanic numerous times. That will get it running for a second and then it stops and won't turn on again. It's been nothing but a headache.

Everything was put together correctly, I'm a mechanic and a small engine mechanic. I knew it was going to have it's problems but not like this every day we had to tighten the bolts in the handle bars the exhaust the back tire then the engine then the bearing and the bushings went out and then just a down hill spiral it didn't even last him a month and he wasn't even rough just barley past the broke in period I wasn't going to leave a review but figured what they heck don't know if I got a default straight from the manufacturer or what

4/25/2020If you read this full review you will see that I have had some issues with 1 of the 2 bikes that I purchased. What I can say is that this seller did absolutely everything they could do to make this right. The seller repeatedly sent parts and never once gave me a problem. As for the bike itself, turns out that a bad stator was responsible for all the headaches. This was an easy repair to make (I had never done this before).Id like to remind you that this is a dirt bike that cost less than $600. brand new. To buy a name brand (Honda/Yamaha) of similar size would be about $4000.00. You can say you get what you pay for but at 4 grand a pop my boys were not going to get bikes. This is a good solid dirt bike despite the issues with this one.Had it been a different seller I might be writing a very different review but Moto Pro and especially Ms. Yuan have been fantastic.Original review with some updates below. So I am starting this review with mixed feelings. I purchased 2 of these bikes for my boys for Christmas. The weather has been on our side and today we got on them for the third time. One has an issue and it won’t go into neutral unless I shut the bike off first. Not a big deal and I’m ok with that. But today, the same bike was back firing and now won’t start. I’ve tried a few times and still the same reaction. I have put in an email to the seller. Amazon won’t touch it cause it is a product that has had gas in it. We will see what the seller says before I weigh in my final judgment. I’m happy with the bike in general but this particular bike may have issues and I hope that the seller addressed the issueUpdate-I have been in touch with the seller and Ms. Yuan has been very helpful. Seller is sending me a new carburetor. It would be helpful if Taotao had a service manual for the bike but with a little small engine knowledge, some basic tools and YouTube the fix should go smoothly. The issue of neutral has not been addressed but I have found a simple clutch adjustment video I found on YouTube may help.I will update review after repairs are madeUpdateTaotao sent a new carburetor but this did not fix the problem. The issue seems to be electrical as I am not getting a spark. I relayed this to taotao and they are now telling me “I” need to test “yes, on my under warranty product” I need to test the ignition coil and CDI. If it’s not this, it’s the magneto. First off, please tell me how I am to test a $10. Electrical component? Send me the damn part. If it fixes it great. If not, send me the next damn part to try. Or.... how about you send me a service manual. Oh yeah, that’s right. You don’t have one.I told taotao they can send me parts to replace or they can replace the bike. I will update later. It’s starting to look like you roll the dice with this product. I will keep posting until it’s resolvedTaotao send me a replacement ignition coil at no cost to me. Didn’t seem to be the same coil but I decided to try it. As I was taking off the old coil, I found a broken wiring harness. It was probably jammed together during assembly and the retaining clip was broken. After a couple of rides it must have just vibrated lose. A little electrical tape later the bike was running like a champ. I still need to make an adjustment to the clutch but over all I am pleased with the sellers response and taotao’s willingness to send replacement parts.Keep in mind this is one of two bikes I bought at the same time and the other has been fine.UpdateThis bike is still not running. I have had to replace the carb, cdi, ignition coil, spark plug and most recently the stator. Moto pro has sent parts at no cost to me but still not running. Tao motors had me re-gap the valves via someone else’s YouTube video. I had a telephone call with a tech today that said there is an issue with the bike and he will send a message to the company. So here I sit scratching my head. I have two boys fighting over the 1 good dirtbike we have while the other bike sits in the garage.I will update when I have an answer from Moto pro or Tao. I left it like this,Refund my money and shipping costOr send me a new bike or pay to have it picked up, repaired and returned. I don’t care which of the 3 they pick but they better pick soon.I will update

The frame packaging for this arrived destroyed (forklift snafu?). Depite that, the bike survived and my kids immediately put it together (before I arrived home). They have ridden it hard for 4 days straight now. Perfect size, simplicity and speed for them to learn their balance and basic handling.

Bike seems to run well. There is some work to do to get it set up. My only dislikes are that all gears are down to shift to higher gears and out o shift to lower gears. The shifter is very stiff and my 11 year old can’t shift up back into lower gears. Sometimes I struggle it is so stiff. Also good luck getting it into neutral 70% of the time without a lot of work. The suspension also leaves a lot to be desired. It does have more power than I thought it would and except for the few negatives can be a fun little bike.
