They are almost as comfortable as my more orthopeodic sandals, but so much lighter and very attractive . I was skeptical but there are really cute and comfy. I've been wearing them around town prior to heading to Europe. No break in period and I can wear them all day.

I have high arches and suffer from really bad foot pain. Based off the reviews, I sized up when I ordered these (I'm usually an 8, 8.5) and ordered the 9 M. They were a bit roomy, but not loose, so I opted to keep them anyway as I'd rather go with more roomy than too snug. I was expecting a little more in the way of arch support, also. The day after getting them I left on a weekend trip and these were the only shoes I packed. They were comfy all weekend, with no foot pain, no rubbing or blisters, total comfort! Typically, the morning after being on my feet all day I am in severe pain and do a lot of hobbling around - not with these! I plan to buy another style of Taos sandals for the summer.

Fantastic sandals. First shoes I've purchased in recent memory that didn't have a "break in" period where they hurt for a few wears. I gave them 4 stars because on day one my walking heavy vacation they picked up a stinky foot odor that I had to deal with for the rest of the trip because I was worried the cushioned footbed would not dry overnight. But I dared to bring only one pair of shoes on a trip where the "slow" day was 15000 steps and since I could infinitely adjust the straps I was able to keep walking with zero blisters.

I bought these to wear during pregnancy as I needed a shoe that could adjust at all straps. It is an amazingly comfortable shoe straight out of the box. Very light weight. No break in period and I am usually covered in blisters, no issues with these. I would recommend. I was skeptical at first because the cost compared to the weight of the shoe. It’s legit. Very nice.

While the Taos sandals were very nice, they just didn't work for me because it was difficult to place my foot in the shoe to allow the metatarsal padding work for my feet. If I'd move my foot far back onto the shoe, the pad fit well, but put me a little too far back in the shoe. I really could use a Metatarsal pad. Too bad; it seems that if the shoes were offered in half sizes it would probably have worked for me.
