These are not anklets, they are brackets. I am a thin woman and they are still tight were you can see the string.

I bought these anklets but I use them as bracelets. Most of the elastic bracelets I've tried are just too tight. My wrists are somewhat larger than most I guess, but I want my bracelets to be able to move around and not squeeze my arm. These have a good variety of colors for a reasonable price. I've been wearing them daily for a couple of weeks, and no problems so far. Would definitely buy again.

Honestly the ankles are not bad quality at all. I was able to put one on without it breaking, but I am a bigger girl so there was a gap in the back where the string showed. These would be more ideal for someone with a skinnier ankle or little kids.
