Read the logo on the headstock,... this is a GStyle. I have 2 of these, fretless and fretted. Good stuff. But, this is NOT A TARIO!!!

had one and returned it. it was beautiful but the input jack and electronics were defective junk. like other reviewers have said, if the cheap parts were all replaced, this just might be an amazing bass. might as well just get a good bass instead.

The craftsmanship around the pickups was not good fit and finish. The opening was noticeable larger than pickup leaving a gap. The screws in my particular instrument around the rear pickup was bent which caused the pickup to be tilted. The finish on the body was rough in spots. The instrument did have a good sound and for the price the above could be fixed

Beginner 5 string bass! This bass would have the makings of an exhalent sounding bass: fret work, neck sanding and body work, component replacement, pick up replacement, (bridge replacement) and through the body stringing. The nut should be replaced with a better one instead of the plastic one, and there are better strings! Replacement of pots might be required. Because of the upgrades I made to the first bass and sound it produced was astonishing, I decide to order a second one, but as with these purchases, you need to inspect every important issue; A straight neck and body, almost everything else I would replace!I will replace all the hardware and pick ups and add state of the art electronic volt monitoring and amp ready circuit, single/humbucker, reverse polarity and mute functions; basically, it’s the through/one body maple bass structure that makes this a potential high end instrument.

This Bass is very awesome. The Pickups sound very clean and powerful, the Neck is straight as and arrow and terrific action. 24 Fret Neck and neck through the body. My Bass player jammed on her for New Years and she played terrific with no Fret buzz at all and also great action. My bassist has fallen in Love with her....THEODE SCOTT BAND

This bass surprised the heck out of me.After some adjustments,it played great.I still have dome sharp fret ends, but i can file and smooth them out.I always expect to do adjustments with a bass in this price range. But it is a great playing and great sounding bass.Remarkable at this price..This bass plays as good as my much more expensive P and J basses.I live in Georgia and this shipped from Chino Ca and took only 4 days.It was packed well also.I will put some nicer strings on it and it should blow me away.Very happy with my purchase.

Amazing bass. At first look it might remind you of the Peavey neck through body. Similarities end there this one doesn't sound like crap. In fact it's more playable and sounds better than my $1100 ESP. If you need a bass or want to expand your collection this is a great one. I may get another just for fun.

First off, if you see a beautiful piece of art when you look at a guitar like I do then you’ll be in love at first sight with this bass. It’s beautiful. It’s also very playable with a few changes starting with the strings. After that the craftsmanship is very nice with the exception of a few things, some of the pots on mine were offset and didn’t rotate smoothly at all. Also not much time and effort was put into the nut whatsoever. Mine resembles something on the plastic mini toy guitars you buy for your kids. It’s that bad but after having a local shop set it up properly and making some cosmetic adjustments to the pots I actually love it. It’s my first 5 string so it definitely works for now.
