Im impressed with the quality of this softbox. Size is perfect for what I was looking for. However is a large size, the quick release design make it easy for travel or outdoors.In this photography world there is a lot of different trending brands but I always give myself the opportunity to search for same quality as recognized brands and affordable. Photography is expensive, take the time to search and evaluate your options.

These are great! I have two 36” octas and one 48” octa. They are super easy to open and more importantly quick. Don’t have to spend much time fussing with tent poles like my previous softboxes. My only gripe is the grid material feels sorta cheap compared to my godox brand softboxes. Maybe its for weight savings but id rather have the extra gram or two it might save in exchange for durability. Other than that these rule!! Time will tell how much abuse they can take, only had them out in the field for about four photo shoots

The TARION Foldable Octabox Bowens Softbox - 90cm/36in is a professional softbox that's super easy to use and make lighting set up so convenient.I've had the opportunity to use this on location for coporate shoots over the last month and given the time I had on hand, I wanted to be able to set up quickly, get the shots and keep the client happy. This softbox delivered in terms of ease of use and sturdiness.The mechanism is interesting as you don't have to pull and lock in place one rod at a time but, rather you have a single handle that you would pull back to open up the softbox and lock in to place. In the end all you have to do is squeeze two little levers together to release the lock and fold it all away.Also included are diffusion sheet and honecomb grid which attach to velcro points arround the inner edge, a separate bowens mount piece which locks into place and a carry case for easy storage and transportation.All this at the pricepoint I believe is a massive benefit to those who really want to build their career with the right gear in place and without having to worry about affordability.Just to sum up;Pros:1. High quality materials making this a professional and sturdy softbox2. Super easy mechanism that allows you to open up the whole softbox with one click3. Great price with all that's includedCons:1. Onyly the one for me to be fair and it's the bowens mount attachment. I understand this allows flexibility for other attachments and easy storage but I'm a little worried about how long it'll last until it starts to spin in place. Only time will tell but it's absolutely solid at the moment.I highly recommend this softbox and will be purchasing various sizes for different lighting set up.

I appreciate how fast it is to setup. This box is lighter than I thought and produces wonderfully soft light. Worth your money if you want a single light box in your kit. Using this as an off-camera flash is a great idea. I appreciate the build quality. It's well-rated for a reason.

A bit heavy, but it works well. I use it on an Amaran 100D studio light. Much better than the ones you have to assemble/disassemble.
