Stand is exactly what it shows in the picture. Everything seems decent quality, but the metal mesh on the sides could be sturdier as mine began bowing in and out during assembly. Unfortunately mine came with some shipping damage. I small chip and notch on the main top surface of the stand. Luckily I am using this for a 75 gallon, but if I were taking up the entire top of the stand with anything wider I would not trust the integrity.

You have to follow the steps exactly. Slow down and study the drawings before you start each step and you should be okay. This is well built and strong. We're glad we chose this.

One of the easiest projects I've had . The instructions were clear and concise and all the parts fit perfectly. I would definitely recommend .
