Reads accurately, but the colors lost their vibrancy after a few uses. When new the dial indicator was bright red, now it's a dark maroon. The numbers are a bit hard to read, but clear enough. After a bit more time, all color is now gone.

The oven in my stove is very flakey. I have had loads of trouble baking and roasting things because of the inaccuracy of the thermostat. After buying this and adjusting the oven so the temperature is correct everything turns out great. This is a great product.

My apartment management changed my stove into old fashioned one where oven temperature are controlled with a dial. I am a bakeholic and there was no way for me to be sure for in temperatures in between the marks. Bought this to give a trial. And it tells the temperature very fast. I love the fact that it can be hung on the oven rack grills. My cookies and pizza came out perfect. Tried them in air fryer as well and l am satisfied. So no more mourning for old fashioned oven hehehe.....

Doesnt look very accurate and might have been busted after 3 rounds in the oven. Pictured here is the item inside the refrigerator, showing a high temp. I suspected that it's busted after I noticed the dial not going down while inside a non working oven.

Un excelente termómetro de Taylor, muy bien construido y de buenos materiales. El dial es grande y muy legible dentro del horno, incluso puede leerse sin necesidad de encender la luz interior del horno, siempre y cuando haya un poco de luz por fuera. Hasta ahora ha funcionado muy bien y parece estar bien calibrado.

The Taylor 5932 oven thermometer is my recommendation: it's well-made, easy to read, and perfectly useful. In addition to its usefulness it is also very well priced. I first purchased and used the Taylor 3506FS: it was (and is) fine, but it is a bit difficult to read through the obscured glass of my oven door. That's where the 5932 shines: it's big with clear numbers and markings. The 3506FS costs (at the time of writing) nearly three times what the 5932 costs. Cheaper, it turns out, may be better... in this case at least.By the way, after finally purchasing oven thermometers I discovered that my oven setting is up to 50° F off (27° C) – to achieve a 400° baking temperature my oven thermostat has to be set to about 450° ! (I use my multiple Taylor thermometers to gauge each other.)My baking has improved immeasurably.

Restaurant quality and highly accurate. Confirmed my suspicion that our oven was running cooler than the set temperature, which is a real problem if you like to bake. Very easy to use and read. Highly recommend.

I kept thinking there was something wrong with my oven but it was easier to worry about it than actually do something to test it. Then I found this oven thermometer at a decent enough price. I was wrong. My oven is spot on, my cooking skills obviously aren't anymore.

If left in oven all times, plastic screen starts to get opaque. Don't leave it inside for ever
