The koa plus gs mini is a great guitar. The sound is amazing and the quality and craftsmanship is so Taylor. I really love the care and quality of the this mini and I enjoy playing it everywhere I go. The portability to be able to travel with it is a plus

I love the guitar. One issue is if you buy it from a Taylor music shop the guitar will be setup. When I ordered it it came in the box and was not setup. Sitting in a back room somewhere the neck was all over the place. I had to send it out to get setup correct which was extra money. Once setup the guitar was amazing.

sounds great but the action is high, have to take to luthier to get adjusted.

I also have a 214ce that I love and this one compares to it sound-wise. The neck is shorter but I'm not feeling constricted. It's much easier to play. My old hands need a break!

This guitar is beautiful, small and mighty. I could not find one in my area to play before buying but did try an acoustic gs mini and felt confident that the koa was gonna be amazing. It’s so satisfying to play this guitar. It’s small which I love. I’m a tiny person and have a hard time with bigger guitars. But there is no compromise on sound because of the size. The sound is rich and very full bodied. The pick ups when plugged in sound fantastic too. Love this guitar so much.

Great sound for it's size and price. The Koa wood is a deep rich color. Definitely recommend it if looking for a smaller, easy to play guitar.

What a sweet little guitar. Portable. Playable. Beautiful (but you can see that for yourself). Fun! And it keeps calling me back for more. And what's more, the 'gig bag' referred to in the item description is actually Taylor's new Aero Case, which is actually more like a cross between the GS Mini gig bag, and Taylor's hard case. It looks like a gig bag on the outside, but looks almost like a regular Taylor case on the inside.
