We bought these for our boat slip hoping for the best, and thats just what we got. It saved us about $100 not getting them at West Marine/.

Spent the morning installing these. Took out the 29ft pontoon. I bumped one of them parking, immediately destroying it. I thought maybe where I secured it to the dock was more than just foam, it's not. It's all foam. You can tear it apart with your hands. I'm not sure what application these are made for, but not that.

Giving it five stars for material and workmanship. but take a look at your dock before you order. Mine did not look like the picture which would have made the installation much easier. Rather, mine had obstructions in the form of boltheads sticking out which were part of the posts of the dock cover structure. I used a Dremmel tool to cut the foam away around the boltheads which was relatively easy but added time and complexity to the installation. And there was a steel plate (also part of the structure) blocking two of the four mounting holes in the bumper; I ended up using just two and the bumper still seems quite sturdy. So again, take a look at your dock corners and size up the installation before ordering.Also as one reviewer alluded to these look easy to install but installing them from the dock on your hands and knees is not that fun. Installing them from a kayak or dinghy from the water would have been much easier.

Fits the application on the dock exactly as needed. It is the second one we bought. It is durable and does notleave marks on the boat when it is contacted.

It would have been nice to have suggested if the top of the bumper should be level or below the top of the dock. When working from above, installing the screws into the dock was a bit tricky
