I use a 6" x 1" ruler every time I play tabletop miniatures games, and I've been making due with a clear plastic quilting ruler. But clear = easy to misplace, and plastic = it gets dinged up over time, so I'm VERY excited to start using this one in my games now. Cheers!

For under $10 this little ruler is just what I needed: Small - only 6 inches long, Sturdy - 1" wide, .040" thick and .95 ounce in weight, Finish - brushed chrome, Measurements - 1/8" and 1/16" increments on one side and 1/32" and 1/64" on the other. There are no metric measurements. That's good, as I have no need for them. I really love this ruler's thickness and width compared to many competing rulers. It's accurate, beautifully made and just feels more substantial. I carry it in the left breast pocket of my carpenter's apron for quick access anywhere in my shop. This ruler may not have the best finish compared to some of the most expensive rulers, but it's certainly good enough for me. You can't beat it for its price. I have no problem recommending it.

I bought this ruler for my girlfriend to use with her polymer clay, and to use as a reference when I am talking shop with her. When I pulled the ruler out of the package, I was stunned by the weight. This ruler is very well weighted and barely flexes when I pull on both ends. Being about an inch wide and 6 inches long, this is a must have for anyone who needs a good reference for any kind of project with rigid materials. I will be purchasing another couple for myself when I finish upgrading my wood shop. Absolutely recommend this product!

This is a good little ruler but I don’t use it very often, use a 12” for most of my work.

Do machine set ups at work. Needed a durable 6 inch ruler since most of the ones at work are alot thinner and bent.. Has been working great for me. Only thing I wish, is that on the opposite side of the 1/16th/1/32 side that it was 1/100ths.. Otherwise doing great.. a little thicker so less chance of bending and has been working great for me. Would purchase again.

Amateur woodworker, but I like using a ruler that doesn't add a little extra space at the end. In other words I like using a ruler that starts its scale at the edge (if that makes sense). That way it is easier to measure depth. I had the 12" and 24" already. The paint doesn't wear off as happened in my other ones. And since it is actually steel and not a mystery material, it actually sticks to my magnet bars that I have on various benches to quickly hold a tool.

The finish is the only downside to this scale. It is very shiny and hard to read in some situations. I much prefer the satin chrome finished rulers, they are way easier to read than these. It is what it is, though. Very nice quality and heavy duty as it can be. Younger people with good eyes may not struggle as much as this old timer does with it.
