This is a heating pad for softening up the adhesive that holds the screens and backs in place on most phones and tablets. The adhesive has to be softened up in order to remove the sealed backs and most models of cell phone and tablet screens for the purpose of replacing the screen and/or batteries on sealed units. You can find instructional videos on YouTube or the Internet to guide you through the process for disassembly and reassembly of your specific device if you have some understanding and skills at DIY repairs.

I was surprised at how well it heats up evenly to remove screens from ipads. The (but...) I was disappointed that it came with no instructions for setting the temperature, the temperature settings are in celsius, had to look up the conversion table for farenheit. It has chinese above the screen, I'm in USA, if it wasn't for the buttons I would be lost. The other (but...) is the packaging, the box was intact but upon opening it all styrofoam blocks and the unit wasn't packaged in any plastic for protecting against styrofroam dust. Upon examing the unit, very well designed. We'll see how it goes.

I used it to replace lcd screen for my daughter’s iPad and it works great really fast.In less than 25 minutes my daughter had a brand new iPad work great no complaints so far.I Recommend it!

Es de materiales regulares, pero tarda mucho en calentar, ademas el detector de temperatura estanen una orilla y siento que no hace su funcion como deberia.

Small foot print allows work to be done in less counter space. The heat is sufficient enough to make screen separation easier. Overall good value for diy ipad screen repair

This works very well for removing the screen from tablets and other mobile devices. It’s well made and has some good features like legs to keep out of contact with your table top and possibly damaging it. The heat control is nice too cutting the heater off before the set temperature and allowing it to “coast” up to the proper temperature and not over shoot it.I’m very happy with this heating system and recommend it.

Did not get hot enough to be of any use. I think the wiring is sub strandard.
