Lightbulb works great. It’s a little too bright for what we needed it for, but that was my fault for not getting a lower watt bulb.

Have tried several types of LEDs in my ceiling fan and found that they might be "bright" but they did not evenly light the room and required other lights to be turned on to have decent lighting. It was difficult to read even sitting directly under them. These Springlamp bulbs solved all those problems. I don't usually write reviews or wax poetic about light bulbs but these really work if you like seeing where you are going and being able to read without secondary lighting.

I bought a beautiful ceiling fan/light with 2 side by side sockets and could not find a led light that was short, with this type of base and with enough lumens to brighten the room. Until I came upon this spring lamp. The light brightens up the room and does the job. Note that the picture for this item at the time of purchase contained the incorrect amount of lumens. The correct lumens is in fact like the description at 825 and I have attached pictures of the box. Anyways I ordered a second set for when they eventually burn out.

Bought these to replace the bulbs in my Hampton Bay fan. It's one of those that has an upside down dish cover. So I had to be very careful about the bulb length. Other bulbs were too big and the cover wouldn't fit. This bulb fit perfectly so I bought the three needed for the fan. My only complaint is that "Soft White" is not the right word. With the three bulbs I could almost light up a small stadium. The color is accurate. But they are very very very bright.

Fit in the fan and worked fine. Not quite as bright as I expected but that is probably the color spectrum.

I've been having trouble finding CFL replacements for a light fixture in our kitchen. We really like the fixture and didn't want to replace it but it's nearly an always on area for family, and we wanted to replace the standard incandescent candelabra bulbs with CFL. We found this to be a rare item indeed, as the bulbs had to be just 3.5" long (contact tip to bulb end) to fit into our fixture. I thought I had found some look alike at a big box store here in town, and bought them without measuring. Too big!!!So I went back to Amazon and ordered these, and we were so pleased they were exactly what we needed for our fixture!They are truly only 3.5" long, and fit easily. The color tempurature is warm, similar to the incandescents we replaced. Like many/most CFLs they are nearly instant on, but brighten slightly after warming up a minute or so, but they are more than simply adequate brightness right away.Don't often have this much to say about light bulbs, but we'd been looking for over a year!
