They look good and offer the security I'm looking for, however they run small and not comfortable for all day use. In addition, they have not worn well on the toes of both shoes only after two weeks of use. Tried returning but shipper wanted a large restocking fee. I will use them for the rest of the season then given then away.

These look great, and provide comfortable protection for motorcycle rides. Just got them today, and went on a ride then con my feet doing things with friends all evening. I didn’t feel like I was klunking about like I do when wearing my Harley leather boots. They felt even more comfortable by the end of the night after breaking in! Can someone tell me the purpose/use of that black elastic band at the top of the laces?
