I've had problems with a few other brand name I've use to record TV show on, some would do good and some not, but these are far most the best blank DVDs that I think money can buy as far for my self, which the manual for my DVD/VHS Recorder Name:( M A G N A V O X) Darn high price thing which mostly I use to record with, also recommend this type blank DVDs the (T D X). And also that could depends on what type DVD recorder you use. I recommend those of you to check your manual out closely of what type bland DVDs it recommend for your DVD Recorder, I've learn sometime relying on some reviews on some items don't always turn out so good for you to try out. But if your manual don't call for a name brand for your DVD Record, give these a try to see if this brand would work better for your unit, also look for a smaller pack to try out like 25 or less if that can be found.
At least it was what it was advertised

I bought these TDKs thinking I would get a good product. Unfortunately, none of the disks were recognizable. At first I didn't know if the DVDs were bad or my program suddenly failed. This write failure started immediately with the first disk. Unfortunately, I didn't have any other older disks to test it out. Until... I found some older Sony blank DVDs hidden in my studio several months latter. I popped in a Sony, and walla, the DVD burned in perfectly. I then burned 3 more disks of projects that would not work with the TDKs. On Final Cut Pro X, with the TDKs it would stop at 66% and come back that no disk was found. With the older Sony's, the problem immediately went away. What a disappointment, loss of time trying to see if my program had a problem, and of course the loss of my cash.

It may be my optical drive but almost every third disc I use is bad or doesn't pass the burn verification process.

As expected - had these before; work fine in my Magnavox DVD recorder. Writing surface is smooth and nice unlike another brand I used. I wish the edges on this weren't quite as smooth so that I could differentiate them when picking them up off of the spindle.

These are really high quality DVDs and you can't go wrong with buying these! I've already burned 10 DVDs and i haven't had any problems yet and i don't expect to. As i said before, they're good quality discs and aren't thin like other dvds you might find. I'm very pleased with this purchase and will buy more when needed! Definitely buy these!

I've been using TDK blank dvds for a long time now and never had any of the issues that people are talking about. The only time I ever have any coasters is if I do a whole bunch of other stuff while I'm trying to burn my media. It also might help some folks to have adequate hardware in their pc system/build. I've used dvdfab, convertxtodvd, ashampoo burning studio, imgburn, poweriso, and Windows Disc Burning, and I never have any problems with these discs. Honestly. They also play in a wide variety of media players. the only issues I've ever had with blank dvds were a Staples brand. I can't argue with other people's negative feedback, to each their own. It's your money and your choice, but I'll stick with what saves me money lol. I don't have problems with TDK.

I bought these DVD+Rs when they were $10.99/50 + Free super Saver...They are very durable, havent burned one coaster yet, and dont have half the top side covered with their name (like the verbatims and HP ones do; makes it hard to label when half the side has VERBATIM written on it.) Some people say tdk are low quality and have burning issues, but if you have a DVD recorder that isnt more than 5 years old, you should have no issues whatsoever. Memorex, which seem to make a good dvd+r as well, are about 3/4 as thick as these are it feels..which means the tdks are thicker and more durable. Although i havent had a dvd i burned using one of these for more than 2 months, i have a good feeling my data and videos will be safe for years to come. Best Deal on Amazon...Search for the TDK 100pk DVD+Rs, its going for $22.99 + Free Shipping.
