My boat is 16 years old and the ladder was showing its age. This new ladder is a 100% OEM replacement all the way down to the manufacturer’s decals. The only problem I had to work through was the mounting brackets that came with the new one vs. the ones that came with the boat. They were identical but not as long as the original. I sawzalled the two bolts from the old ladder and used the new stainless steel bolts from the new ladder mounting it to the original brackets. I need it to slide back like the original as it sits inside a compartment when not it use. Looking forward to summer!

Fit our boat perfectly. We bent the existing ladder and needed to order a new one. Was concerned the dimensions would not line up with the existing holes in the boat. All worked out great ...fairly easy install .

I ordered this ladder and what arrived was not a Windline Ladder. It is Amarine Brand. Not the same quality. This is a completely misleading description. It is not even the same size as the Windline it claims to be. See pictures. The Windline is the old ladder I am replacing.

I thought buying the same brand of the 2 step on my boat that this would fit. I now have to pay up to 85.00 for a shop to take off the mounting brackets that are on the boat to put on the new ladder wider brackets. Amazon needs to do a better job of dimensions like the tube size, I often find this a problem.

I would have preferred to find a ladder slightly wider, but the only ones I could find wider were too wide to fit inside my swim step hand rails. Also this ladder seems to be made of lighter grade tubing than my original single step ladder. Overall though the ladder seems to work fine and functionally I have no complaints. Time will tell how it holds up.

I bought a 1998, 18' Stingray RS and the ladder that came with the boat only had two rungs that barely dipped into the water. It made it hard for my parents, in-laws, and wife to climb up into the boat. With this ladder from Windline, it brought the third rung down deep enough into the water that anyone can climb aboard with ease. It fits into the same space as the old ladder, although, id did not line up with the old mounting location or holes. A little RTV filled the holes and some scrubbing pretty much cleaned up the stains from the old mounting location. It is very sturdy, able to support a 300 lb rider.

The ladder fits perfect and looks nice. The downside is that it doesn't lay flat up against the back of the boat like the stock one did. Havent used it yet, but I'm nervous that it doesnt have enough support.
