This headlamp has great features but I'm not sure where the seller got "990,000 lumens" as the brightness level, it might just be a typo and the listing doesn't have the best text. Again, pay attention to details so people are more confident in your product. A simple internet search will show that ANYthing boasting 990,000 lumens would be an extraordinary invention for lighting. (It would probably vaporize your tent.) Also a boast of 350,000 hours of headlamp use (not CHARGE, but USE) equals14,583 days, which equals roughly 40 years. WHAT?? Those are fairly lofty details for a $40 headlamp. Jus sayin.Other than lofty claims, there's a lot I like about this headlamp: It seems sturdy and solidly made — the light has an aluminum casing, the strap is comfortable and has a small curved plate at the front, which is a nice feature I don't have on any other headlamp, and the solid battery pack at the rear is a great balance for the weight of the light in front. This is a new generation of headlamps, no more cheap plastic lights over batteries all attached at the front of your head anymore. It has a great charge display on the side, I like not having to guess the charge level, and I like that I could charge my phone a bit in an emergency, deciding between light or communications. The small rubber stopper at the top of the battery pack where the C-cable plugs in is not the greatest tho, I'm not sure I'd risk wearing this in the rain and having water run down inside the unit. The last thing I really like is the 120 degrees of adjustment for the light. You can really point it straight down, so light would be great for all kinds of stuff you're working on with your hands, like model building, stitching, auto repair, or any hand-crafted product. AND, you can have the light genuinely pointing down at the trail or street, so as not to blind oncoming cars, or friends when you're talking to them.Overall a good little light and with the 40% OFF Coupon I'd be hard pressed to find a better hiking, camping, working light. It is a touch heavy though, the only thing I CAN'T imagine doing is running with it. I do recommend this headlight, I'm very happy with it, and would gift this to friend or family, which is my threshold for 4 stars.

I needed a hands-free light for camping and working in the garage, and this headlamp turned out to be super helpful. The light is really bright—way brighter than I expected. I first used it while setting up our tent at night, and it lit up everything in front of me. The headband fit snug and didn’t slip around, even when I was moving a lot.One of the coolest parts is the motion sensor. I just wave my hand in front of it, and it turns on or off. That really helped when my hands were dirty or full. It also has different light modes, like a softer one for reading and a zoom-in beam for seeing far ahead on dark trails. I even used it during a power outage and it lit up the whole room enough to walk around safely. There were a couple of small things I didn’t love. First, the sensor is a bit sensitive—sometimes it turns on by accident when something moves close to it. Also, the charging cable is pretty short, so I had to leave it right next to the plug while it charged. It’s not a big deal, but a longer cable would be nice.Overall, I’m really happy with this headlamp. I’ve used it for night walks, fixing the car, and even reading outside in the dark. It’s been super useful and stays in my backpack just in case I need it. I’d recommend it for anyone who wants a bright, easy-to-use light for outdoor stuff or jobs around the house.
