Our story began with a passion for travel and a deep love for Taiwanese tea
Our founder has always loved exploring the world and finding inspiration through travel. During a visit to Taiwan’s mountains, she spent an evening under a star-filled sky, savoring a warm cup of high mountain tea. I’m a tea fanatic so I’ll say these aren’t bad. These have a nice quality finish on the palate, smooth, no bitter finish. Oolong and green tea are favorites so I enjoyed these.

This is an excellent gift for any tea lovers in your life. The set contains 3 different Chinese style oolong and black teas. My favorite was the Honey Black Tea, but to be honest they were all extremely lovely and I wish I had a full size of each of them! The teas are very high quality and can be steeped multiple times (the mark of a high quality full leaf tea) They also come in a cute gifting box (although mine had the product sticker on the front which was disappointing but I think that's more of an Amazon issue than an issue with the product or seller)If you want to try some good quality oolong teas or are just getting into tea this is a great starting point. Just a heads up, while one of the teas comes in a bag, the other 2 are loose leaf teas. So if you are completely new to tea, you will need to make sure you have a method for brewing loose leaf tea (whether that's an infuser or gaiwan)

These were good samplers. The two oolong teas, were very light and was more on the green tea side of oolongs. I've had some oolongs that leaned more on the black tea side. The black tea was the only one that tasted like real black tea. My family member who loves black tea and not a fan of green tea was not impressed with the oolong, but I quite liked the light taste of it. Overall it was a nice sampler, but I thought it was quite expensive for what it is.

Teacrave's Taiwan Tea Sampler Pack includes 3 different types of teas. I have bought Taiwan Tea before and really like it. The tea that has the bird on the front of the package contains 1 tea bag and contains a Light Roasted Oolong Tea. What I noticed immediately was that it was extremely aromatic. I had made the tea in a container and when I poured the tea into my mug, its relaxing and warm scent came out even though I didn't even try to smell it. It has a wonderful scent. The tea itself was weaker than what I am used to compared to the other similar types of tea from Taiwan I have tried. I brewed it again, but as expected, it was even weaker to the point that I don't think it was meant to be used twice. The other 2 types of tea are loose teas so they aren't bagged. I enjoyed what I tried, but for the price, more tea should be included.

I brewed both oolongs at 185, as I usually do. I got about three brews out of both. The one in the packet did one batch (I dumped it out of the packet and into a gaiwan) and the loose vacuum sealed bag did a scant three batches. Both of them were on the grassy end of things, and didn't seem particularly remarkable. They were fine, but nothing to justify the price.The black tea was actually my favourite. I also brewed that loose, in a teapot with strainer. It was full bodied and quite pleasant.While I like the idea of a sampler, so you don't spend a lot blind on a tea you don't end up liking, I personally wouldn't purchase any of these again, and the sampler itself is quite expensive. I can get a couple samplers with a total of maybe 10 teas, most of which I like better, from YunnanSourcing for the same price.
