The carving on this labradorite piece is very well done. However, there is a hairline crack on the bottom third that is on the front and back of the stone and a few pits. I am a bit worried it would break the bottom portion off without a solid back setting. It is a lovely piece and I really like the way the blue sheen ribbons though the carving which is why I kept it.

The owner I received was not cut from as good a section of labradorite as those pictured or carved with as much skill and depth as those depicted.Honestly, I wouldn't buy it again if I'd seen the one they sent me before money and goods changed hands.

Update!!Decided to give this another try, and the second one came back with far more flash. Giving it 4 stars. I just wish the product was consistent.I was super excited to snatch this up based on the previous reviews, but this is so poorly made. The quality of the stone is awful. There is no flash! And there are so many chips and inclusions. The thing isn't even polished. I'm sending this back and requesting a replacement. If the second one isn't bad, then I will update my review.
