I was having trouble with the pitch adjustment on my technics sld2, found the original part number for this online in a copy of the original instructions and this popped up. Worked perfectly. A little hard to open, had to cut down much further than I thought. Other wise it was perfect.

If there's one thing I just can't deal with, it's a non-lubricated spindle. Now my spindle is swimming in proper lubrication.

Nice to still have a source for the ‘correct’ Panasonic/Technics turntable motor oil. Larger more cost effective quantities would be nice

SFW0010 is the original oil specification for Technics direct drive lubrication. Spindle should be lubed every 2,000 hours with several drops. This vial will last a lifetime for one deck.Concern about the cost: KAB USA sells the very same vial for USD 6.If you have any Technics Direct Drive turntable, you need the oil. Whether at 30 dollars for a vial, that is another question. The vial arrives packaged in an envelope, not as pictured in a cardboard box. Also note that TECHNICS SFW0010 is ANDEROL 465 bearing motor oil used in aviation and for other purposes that is perhaps available to you at a local store.

I used ten carefully expressed drops of this oil on the spindle of the turntable and it worked like a charm. I'm left with a five year supply of the oil and hours of pure musical pleasure.

Great value and worked perfectly definitely recommend worked great on my technics 1200mk2 and on a side note I wss having a problem with my Numark Ns7iii where my platters would hang up and stop intermittently well just for kicks I took apart my Numark Ns7iii and used the lube on the bottom of the platters where the shaft meets bare metal and have not had a problem with them since!! So excellent product!!

I have several Technics Turntables, and have been looking for the oil to perform maintenance when needed. This is the OEM spec stuff, so it's what I really wanted to use on turn tables that are as old as I am :)

This is the "official" spindle oil for your SL1200 spindle, whatever that means; I'm sure you could use this on any other TT spindles you have. Thing is you don't need more than a drop or two over many years, so you've just bought a whole lot of expensive light oil for which you've hardly used any at all. Maybe it's good for small motors too or gears or other metal parts that need lubrication. I will say that it works perfectly for what it's made for, and you should resist the urge to put more than a couple drops on the spindle, because it'll just be a dust catcher.

I bought this oil for my Technics turntable, and it works perfectly. Only takes a couple drops of oil. The turntable manual says to oil every 2000 hours of using the turntable , so this is probably enough oil to last a lifetime.

I used the SFW0010 to oil the spindle on my Technics sl 1200. It's been about a month and my table is spinning great. The design of the product allows a clean application onto the spindle directly. The quantity provided should last for some time so it really is a bargain at the price I paid.
