TechSpec’s, Motorcycle Tank Grips were developed to improve body, bike control and increase riders comfort. The instructions say to cut them if needed or desired, then bevel or chamfer them with a bench grinder...yeah right. These fit perfectly on my 2019 XSR700. I let them sit on the bike for about 6-8 hours before riding it and they are on there good. Package said wait 12 hours so if you want to be safe do that. No slippage so far. I had to reposition the right side because I moved it while applying and it sticks like I never did anything, so that's good. Pricey but worth it IMO because the feeling of being attached to the bike is really game changing. No more sliding around when braking or gassing it, and highway trips got a bit better too.

Grip pads for the XSR700 is a must. Especially as a new rider they make a big difference. I feel more control between my legs and they're not sliding around when braking.The shape of these pads contour the tank nicely! Grip pattern gives it a retro look that will compliment my new seat with diamond stitching. Also the edges are beveled so no need to round them off.When installing heat up your tank and pads with a blow dryer or heat gun. It will make it easier to install and remove in case you don't like the way they sit. They come with clear cut instructions so that should answer any other questions.Overall a great investment in safety despite the price. When it comes to safety I don't skimp out and neither should you. Ride safe and Godspeed!
