Kids just started taekwondo and I got an inflatable kicking and punching bag which is terrible but this product is great. It has a secure base and won’t leak or get a hole punctured in it and the ball is great for kids to work on accuracy and precision.

I bought this for my son for when he becomes upset. He has somewhere to channel his anger. Seems to be made well however I have had it leak a few times. This isn’t a huge deal for use because we keep it outside. I like the option to adjust the height.

The only downside to this product are the gloves or should I call them mittens? The bag and stand itself are great, but the gloves that come with are garbage. If you buy this, make sure to grab a set of gloves also.

This was a great purchase. My son didn't end up using it as much as I expected, but at no fault of the punching bag. I actually found that I was having just as much fun playing with it, with him. It's surprisingly strong and durable, and can handle my adult punches (not full force, just playing with the kiddo). It's fun, and sturdy and built well. The gloves that come with it are basically useless, very cheaply made, and seem like a small step up from disposable. I wouldn't count on using them if you or your kid need gloves, but they aren't necessary to use the punching bag. It's been fun, and I'll keep it around to see if my son is more interested as he gets older. Recommend! Especially if you live in an apartment or small space and have a kid with a lot of energy.

Biking with kids

Fun for my 6-8 year olds and their friends. Keeps them busy. Ive seen them get pretty rough with it and it still take a beating. 1 star off durability for the top ball routinely comes loose / unscrewed. I regularly make sure the ball / punch bag and screwed on tight as I walk by. We keep ours in the garage / drive way for outside play time. I tell the kids to go punch it 100 times each as a game. Or tell them to set a 5 minute timer and see how many times they can get in a punch. Keeps them busy and helps hand - eye coordination, strength, speed , agility, etc.

This punching bag was easy to assemble. I just had to put the poles together, insert them to the base, and screw on the bottom. The base does need to be filled to add weight. We filled it with sand. The punching bag screws on to the top pole. Sometimes it loosens up but all I need to do is tighten it up again. I didn’t really like the gloves, they don’t have much padding. The punching bag poles are like a spring so it does swing far when you punch it and can hit you if you’re not careful. Be sure to keep it somewhere where there is open space. My son has a lot of fun with this.

I purchased this item for a 4 year old and did not read any of the reviews until after I ordered the product. After I read the reviews I thought that I had made a mistake and expected the worst.When we received it, I was skeptical but when I opened the package and assembled same I was surprised by the quality of the product.It should be noted that this punch bag is designed for little children- not older children or adults. The product has stood the test of time for such toys for an active 4 year old. It has been a hit (pun intended)!

Of all the gifts to my grandson and there were many by others, this one HIT IT OUT OF THE PARK!! After a very quick and easy assembly it was used the most!! He got electronic gifts, technical gifts and too may other filler gifts!! This one won his heart!! Put in the workout room, he was there most of the time learning how to protect himself and THAT is the reason we got him this gift. He worked out!! He wanted to learn! It is so important to help younger children learn something about reality, if it happens to become necessary. Working out, using energy and learning balance will help him. I am proud to give this gift!!
