Good rack. Top is open so you can actually get more than 8 spaces if you have a large synth or mixer by mounting it on the upper half. Nice that they include rack screws/cage nuts. Goes together in a few minutes with a Philips screwdriver.

I had been buying an alternate rack similar to this for years on AMAZON.(you know which one)Anyway, the differences between this and the aforementioned one above are as follows-Less expensive $$almost exact same sizeTHINNER steel material overall-defiantly an issuesmaller diameter side rails in depthabout 20% less ridged than competitorNote: I always remove and install furniture type glides with studsin place of the supplied rubber feet they include, this allows the unitto slide or "glide" on your surface, In addition I always add a lacer bar BETWEENthe rear legs to add more rigidity to the unit.Otherwise, a useable product for this particular application.This frame WILL NOT stiffen up empty without the addition of rack panelsand/or gear installed (obviously).As far as weight limits, I have loaded previous units withexcessive weight (200+lbs) without issue. Keep the heaviestgear LOW!

It came in and put it together in less than 20 minutes. once the items were installed its very sturdy enough to sit on so if you're thinking of buying just do it

I was able to rack mount my Novation Supernova 2. It worked as intended. Easy to build. Comes with everything you need including rack mount hardware for synths or anything else that has the ears already.

Its perfect for my use case. I wanted to have my Unifi UDMP and switch under the shelf in my IKEA Fjallbo set. It ended up being a few inches too tall so I had to modify the top bars for it to fit. I'm thinking a 6U would have been ideal. Regardless, it fits well, it's very sturdy and looks great. I highly recommend for someone with a few networking prices needing a cleaner setup.

Poor quality build, screws would not line up with holes. Returned item.It looked good apart from the logo being printed upside down.
