2D Bluetooth Barcode Scanner - Moving your barcodes beyond paper
This TMSL-56 scanner is using the latest bluetooth technology, and it is the updated version for TMSL-55. It works with Apple iOS, Android, Window PC and tablets. This cradle can work as a data receiver and charging base, it also can be mounted on the wall or stand on the table as you wish.
NOTE:
1. This scanner is not 100% compatible with square, vend, shopkeep software on iOS devices.
2. If you want to convert the usb cradle to COM port, you can purchase TEEMI serial cable for the USB cradle or activate virtual com port feature.
3. If you want this scanner to read DPM barcodes, please kindly confirm with us before placing the order. Codes, symbols, and text applied directly to a part’s surface (rather than affixed by a label or packaging) are known as Direct Part Marks (DPM). DPM are used widely in industrial part tracking from electronics manufacturing to automotive assembly.
4. This 2D scanner is not good at decoding 1D long barcode around over 10cm. It reads UPS, UPS tracking bills.
TMSL-56 scanner utilizes a magnetic switch in the cradle to activate auto-sense mode, meaning it can switch between handheld and hands free mode with no configuration, just put the scanner in the intelligent USB cradle to activate. What's more, it will switch to trigger mode automatically when out of the cradle.
Presentation Mode uses ambient light and scanner illumination to detect bar codes. When in Presentation Mode, the LEDs remain dim until a bar code is presented to the scanner, then the aimer turns on and the LEDs turn up to read the code.
NOTE:
- The LEDs are like a flash on a camera. The lower the ambient light in the room, the brighter the LEDs need to be so the scanner can “see” the bar codes.
- With powerful strong LED light, you can use the scanner even in the dark.

Easily pair with your smart device or the USB cradle or receiver
You can select the bluetooth profile mode accroding to your software requirement.
- Bluetooth SPP(serial port profile):
The scanner can upload the data to your serial software under this mode.
- Bluetooth GATT(Generic Attribute Profile)
The scanner can upload the data to your serial software under this mode. GATT Service UUID needs to be filled while in connection.
- Bluetooth HID
The scanned barcode data will be uploaded to IOS, Android , windows or other devices in the form of bluetooth keyboard data.
Heavy durable USB cradle weighs 0.6lb
When you press the red pager button at the back of the cradle, there are audible tones and hand pulsation, therefore you can easily find your scanner.
- When the battery is low, you will hear three high beeps from the scanner.
- Charging via the USB wall charger(not included) is faster than charging via the cradle. You can use any 5V 1A USB wall charger to charger the scanner.
- With 2600mAh Capacity Battery, it can work 12 hours continuously after full charge. (Test the battery life with a machine, scanning rate one scan per second). If you only do hundreds scans per day, the scanner can work for half month. To charge the device, place it directly on the cradle or connect to any active USB port. The red LED will turn on during charging. The scanner can be fully charged in around 5 to 6 hours.
Charging via the USB wall charger(not included) is faster than charging v the cradle. You can use any 5V 1A USB wall charger to charger the scanner.

Scanner works well enough, very well considering price. However, the base is not designed well. It is not conducive for mounting & usage as the cord is attached to it on the wrong end.

Have 2 of these scanners just under a year for my store. They were easy to install at first but then one of them stopped working in the middle of the day. Have been emailing customer service and they answered once with an answer that did not apply to what the problem was. I have been emailing all day asking for the manual to try and figure it out myself at this point but still waiting! It will not pick up any of my store's inventory items and none of the directions I can find online do not help. UPDATED: AFTER THE COMPANY SENT ME SCAN CODES TO TRY AND FIX MY SCANNER, IT GOT TO A POINT WHERE THEY DIDN'T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY COULDN'T GET IT TO WORK SO THEY SENT ME A NEW SCANNER FOR FREE. I AM HAPPY WITH THAT DECISION AND THE NEW SCANNER IS WORKING PERFECTLY. THEY ONLY COMPLAINT I HAVE AT THIS POINT IS THE WERE ONLY ANSWERING MY EMAILS ONCE A DAY AND THERE IS NO TELEPHONE NUMBER TO CALL. I COULD HAVE HAD THE ISSUE CORRECTED IN ONE DAY BUT INSTEAD IT TOOK ALMOST A WEEK. END RESULT, IS THEY SEEM TO STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT AND FOR THAT REASON, I CHANGED MY REVIEW FROM A 1 START TO A 4 STAR.

I have three of these units, the last one does not scan like it should, does not link with the cradle. Only does a error noise when scanning. Will scan using the charging usb wire but does enter a return after scanning. I have been trying to fix and or contact support for months. Unless this wakes them up, I will never buy one of their products again. Now you know why they are so cheap. They do not have to answer any questions.

Habe den Scanner als kostengünstige Alternative in einem Produktionslager versucht. Dies ist nun fast ein Jahr her und der Scanner leistet nach wie vor seinen Dienst. Die Verbindung ist hervorragend, selbst wenn mehrere Metallregale dazwischen sind, ein paar Stürze nimmt er locker auf und die Codeerkennung ist auch sehr gut (verwendet bei QR Codes)Das Einstellen des Deutschen Tastaturlayout ist etwas umständlich, aber der Händler stellt alle benötigten Tools hierfür zur Verfügung. Habe nun 4 Geräte im Einsatz und es werden zukünftig weitere hinzukommenAbsolute Kaufempfehlung

This is a very nice upgrade over the original model. The cradle is significantly better the battery life is improved and so has QR scanning.
