This little display is very amazing. So, detailed and colorful. I got this as a gift for a dental hygienist friend that teaches proper dental hygiene and proper brushing to youngsters at public schools. She told me that this is a very accurate representation of tooth decay and how cavities invade the tooth. It is amazingly intricate and detailed and small enough to keep in your purse. I would highly recommend this small prop for every dentist office, dental hygienist and public school. It is such a good teaching tool!

This 4x enlarged periodontal disease and tooth decay model is a well-made, durable resin piece that effectively illustrates various dental pathologies. From tartar buildup and pulp stones to occlusal disease and periodontal necrosis, it provides a detailed visual representation of common dental issues.However, rather than a hyper-realistic model, it resembles a 3D version of a textbook illustration. While this makes it excellent for educational purposes, it may not be as visually striking for those seeking a more lifelike representation. My biggest critique is the lack of a diagram or legend to identify the different anatomical features and conditions depicted. Without prior dental knowledge, it's nearly impossible to determine what is being depicted.Otherwise, this is a great tool for those already familiar with dental anatomy and pathology, but beginners might need additional resources to fully appreciate its educational value.
