Easy-to-Follow Steps for Beautiful Creations
Measuring
Prepare a 1:1 mixture of casting resin by measuring an equal volume of resin and hardener.
Mix resin and hardener
Pour the measured resin and hardener into a mixing cup.
Slowly stir
Slowly stir the mixture in one direction using a stirring stick or spatula.
String-like shapes
As you stir, the resin might create string-like shapes, but continue mixing until it becomes clear and free of strings.
Final state: clear and smooth
Continue stirring the mixture until it becomes clear, this indicates that the mixing is complete.
Add pigments and so on
If desired, add color pigments, mica powder, or other additives to the mixture and thoroughly stir to achieve a uniform color.
Pour into the mold
Pour the mixed resin into the desired molds.
Demold from the mold
Allow the resin to cure and harden, curing time: 24-48 hours.

This resin kit is great for beginners the resin is good quality. Good clear glossy shine to finished item. Comes with all you need to get started. I leave mine for 48 hours them take out the mould no stickiness.

This worked pretty good and is nice for a beginner. It dries well to a nice hard finish and the colors are beautiful. My only complaint is the white is not good for making the cells on an ocean wave.

Definitely a beginner kit. Misleadimg to say cutting board..really read description. Forms are very small. Like coaster size. You can get maybe 4 shapes out of the kit 5 if you're lucky. The directions suck. Had to youtube a video and it made it so much clearer. Basically equal parts of A and B stir and add color. Add extra color or it will be pale amd see thru. And it changes as it dries. They need to get rid of the so called cutting board shapes and just do a circle and square. Maybe do a different kit with an actual cutting board. Be sure to soak cups in soapy warm water to clean them so you can use them again or they are trash. And toothpicks work well for mixing if you use up the few popsicle sticks. To avoid bubbles slowly fold the mix instead of stirring. You will still get some but not as many. Do not use a hairdryer if you are trying to get the white to or any other color swirl. Use a toothpick or gently blow! Otherwise buy ine of the special dryers but only if you're doing this hardcore. Hope this helps. Wear old clothes it doesnt come off. Wear gloves or wash your hands with warm water and dawn dish soap 🙂

I’m have been wanting to give this resin craft ago for sometime, I had a IV resin kit for Christmas and really enjoyed it, but the IV resin has such short working time so I searched high and low to give the expiry resin a go and so I ordered Teexpert solely on the idea it’s did have any odour and wanted an all in 1 kit I could just give it a go oh and forgot to mention the 1:1 ratio seemed to me a sensible approach rather than some of the other brands where it was 2:1 and working out how much you finally ended up with. So I have shared in the pictures my first ever coasters made from the Teexpert beginners kit, as I said I’m a beginner at this craft and it was so easy, and so interesting to see the patterns forming, and when you go back 12 hours later it’s a surprise to see and then you have to decide what side you like best which is why I posted the both sides of my coasters. The best part about Teexpert’s resin is there is no smell, that’s definitely a Huge huge plus, the resin mixes well, very little bubbling once poured , hey but if you have a hair dryer then it’s really not difficult to end up with a bubble free finish. The resin working time is just right and you don’t need to rush. The beginners kit has everything you need to get started, I previously purchased the Teexpert) mica powders so I already had many colours to choose from (highly recommend and very reasonably priced), but tried to stick with what’s in box, although did add some of the mica black, ruby and copper powder to one coaster and I already had an enamel paint pen to put around the side of the coasters. So the kit comes with enough to make 1 of each of the coasters, I didn’t make the geocoaster because when I started I really liked the mini chopping board coaster so opted to make 2 of them instead. I found if you mix some of the fluid colour with the mica powder gave a wonderful intense colour. The resin is really crystal clear when set not dull at all.
