Very disappointed in the overall quality of the knife. I remember them back in the 80’s to feel better in your hand with more heft. And to be honest, I’ve got a couple of Taiwan/Chinese knockoffs, for $10.00 that are just as nice, with a nicer sheath. Needless to say, save your money, get something else.

I have owned an earlier version of this knife for 40 years.Used it for diving, kayaking, rafting, travel into the middle of nowhere and back again.Great retention mechanism and always as sharp as I honed it.It always did the job.Buying another for my daughter.Small enough to be unobtrusive, big enough to get the job done.

Know what you are buying when you get this product. But that said its a pretty great knife, great design and feel. Its way nicer to look at than functunal but it will get you where you need to go in the end. 10 out of 10 for this retro knife guy.

This knife is an extremely poor and potentially dangerous product to a diver in distress. Sure, it is nice looking but it is NOT SHARP IN THE LEAST! I would never take it diving. I hope no one else would either. They might very lose their life as a result. A former Navy Retired Seal buddy of mine called it an " absolute disgrace! " He also mentioned that it reminds him of the " ceremonial swords " used by officers in the Navy. They are fancy and are highly chromed but NOT SHARP!

I purchased the Tekna SS Dive Knife in 1983 and it is still my go-to knife for running rivers. Whether it is kayaking, rafting or canoeing in whitewater this knife is always attached. It has had to stab through wood and plastic hulls, cut rope, slice patching material or most other boating uses this knife has performed admirably for a very long time.
