I love tekton tools, it has been a great product so far but the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the actual Tekton company don't ship to Canada so products are limited to buying on Amazon which there isn't a big selectionUpdate: Tekton now ships to Canada directly from their website, great product

I used this socket to disassemble the 12 point gas side of a ball lock sixtel keg. It worked well. The socket was deep enough to prevent interference from the keg valve itself. I also bought the six point socket for the beer side - but that was unnecessary; I could have used the 12 pointer for that too.

My 1/2 drive 3/4-inch socket cracked so I visited a small local hardware store but wasn't comfortable with the sockets they had in stock.so decided to check on Amazon. Although this socket only had several 5 star reviews I decided to take a chance as a result of the positive reviews. I was quite surprised when I opened the package and saw the quality of the socket. It is much better than the one that is cracked which was a well known name brand. I will recommend Tekton to friends and family who are looking for a quality socket set.

Very good quality - especially given the surprisingly low price. I cracked a 21 mm 6-point impact socket from another manufacturer when trying to take the lug nuts off my wife's Toyota. The "factory-certified technicians" at the dealership hammer them on way too hard with their impact wrenches. So I had to use the Tekton 21 mm 12-point socket. It required over 140 ft-lbs of torque to remove the worst lug nut - yes, I measured. That's way more torque than I would normally put on a 12-point socket, but the Tekton held up fine.

If you're a homebrewer and keg your brew, then sooner or later you're going to have to clean your kegs. Without the right tool to remove the posts, you're stuck fiddling with monkey wrenches and spit-and-baling-wire solutions. If you have a half-inch drive socket set, then this is exactly the tool to make your life easier.Not much more to say: the socket is high quality and works as advertised. The 12-point socket fits both the in and out posts on a ball-lock Corny, and I couldn't be happier with mine.
