I needed to replace the cables on my 21' pontoon and used tape measure to approximate the length that I needed without taking the boat out of service. My original cables still worked but throttle was extremely stiff. Replaced with these and even though 3' longer than needed, they still perform great and smooth even with the added larger extra loop.
