Equipped with a detachable 2-pin plug-in base; Surface installation;
Working voltage: Dc10-30V. Power: 1.5W. The black wire is connected to the negative pole (-), and the red wire is connected to the positive pole (+).
Installation:
(1) Install the accompanying base in a suitable position at the bow or stern of the ship (please refer to the picture size for the base size), and fix it with 3 screws before installing the lighting fixtures; (2) Press the bottom of the lamp post into the base and fix it (insert the side of the lamp post with the screw protrusion at the bottom corresponding to the internal gap of the base, please refer to the video for installation method), lower the locking ring and insert it into the base and tighten it clockwise. (3) To remove the lamp, rotate the locking ring in the opposite direction until it is released, and then pull up the lamp post; (4) The base is equipped with a rubber dust cover, which can be used to cover the base dust cover after removing the lamp, making it waterproof and dustproof.

My brother gave me a boat that was in pretty sad shape. After getting most of the systems functioning, I realized I was going to have to get it up to Coast Guard specs and a stern light was necessary. I looked all over the boat for the old one, but it was long gone. I saw this item pop up on my recommended list and took a shot. Once it arrived I walked right out to my boat and plugged it in to the existing receptacle and viola, it lit right up. I did save the plug and hardware that came with it in case my original decides to quit working at some point as it is original to the boat, but for right now I am a happy captain.

This thing has everything I need, it's not only extendable, and very bright, but also modular, meaning you can take it out, and the quick connect is waterproof so you don't have to worry about leaks or having to use a bunch of time and effort setting up and taking down the light, or being stuck with a permanent light post. This will be the permanent solution for my kayak navigation lights and will be fantastic for any night paddling I choose to do. The quick connect pressure collar is an easy quick quarter to half turn in either direction to tighten, to loosen do the opposite and pop it right out. The extension is easy to use, also utilizing a quarter turn pressure lock, you can lock and unlock the extension rod easily, and it has a spring retracting it when released. It's easy to extend and contract with one hand.I am very happy with this, and have no complaints. I suggest this to anyone who needs a removeable navitagion light for their boat or kayak.

This led strip is not marine rated, protected, nor even glued completed. The water seal o ring is flimsy. I don't think this will last more than 8 months on my offshore boat. The base seems flimsy as well.

Very handy that this light is adjustable and even removable. My husband has been loving its convenience on his lake fishing trips. It's also really bright. A nice item

Was looking for a stern light, of this style, to add to my boat, and this one is great! The extendable pole moves out and in nicely, the light is sufficiently bright, and this installed on my boat well. Used it a few times this year on the water and had no issues!

I've been looking for a compact stern light for my square stern canoe, but the other lights I tried were a bit large. The dome of this stern light is only 1 3/8" wide. The shaft and dome are 28" tall when collapsed and 43' tall when extended. The light is detachable from the base, which allows me to remove and store the light while it's not in use. The base has a rubber plug to help keep water out when the light isn't in the base.

Standard 2-pin marine plug is nice so that I was able to use the light with an existing base. I'll switch to the base that came with it eventually but this was great for a mid-season replacement. I run a 12-volt electric systems and this is low draw on the battery. It telescopes easily and stays at whatever height you choose with an easy twist.
