Put this on my auger . Was identical one to one that was in it . Worked when put it on in the shop . Went to unload first load of grain and quit working. Had to replace it with a new one from the dealer .

Worked well on my 8274 Warn. Lots cheaper and better looking than the original 4 solenoid setup*Update* after a year and a half, it quit working, contacted Temco and sent my defective solenoid to them and they replaced it no questions asked under warranty, great folks to deal with

I mounted a 3,500lb pull Harbor Freight ATV winch on my trailer for a recovery winch. The HF relay stuck the first time I tried to pull something heavy on the trailer. I was determined to find a relay that could handle the amperage draw from any winch that I decided to install in the future. TEMCo has a 250 amp unit which would probably be sufficient, but I purchased the 450 amp unit.I first thought it was defective because the shipping box was torn, 1 input circuit screw was missing and 1 was loose in the package, and the unit rattled like something was loose inside. Emails with TEMCo assured me that the rattling was normal and I tested the unit and it was ok. TEMCo is sending the missing screw but I had some from the HF unit.Wired it up and it works great. I'm still using the HF winch motor but will probably upgrade to a 9,000lb or 12,000lb winch in the future.Only reason that I'm giving it 4 stars are that there are no instructions with the unit. In my case, I just had to drill out the HF cable terminals for the larger terminals, make a longer ground to common strap, and connect everything up to this new relay.
