Got it to use with a basic router table, chose this one with a safety shroud to prevent dogs from hitting the pedal. Opening is nice and large, easy to find and operate. Have to hold the pedal down for a second or so before the router starts, but once we figured that out it’s been great. Much safer to just let off the pedal to stop the router than to have to find the router’s switch under the table.

The unit works great but the part you put your foot in is on the smaller side A person with a size 10 shoe would most likely have a harder time using the controller.
