Pros: Great for safety or to save time with repetitive tool useCons: A little too easy to press for my taste, very heavy cable for 10AI use this for lots of tools where I want either- the added safety of being able to kill the power by just removing my foot.- tools that I need to turn off and on many times repeatedly during workIt's been great for hot air guns, dangerous UV cure lights, lasers, fans, and anything else I need to turn on every few minutes or seconds. It saves tons of time when I'm working with UV cured surfaces where the process is to apply, cure, apply, cure dozens of times in a row.For the weight of the cable (which seems like 10Ga) I'd expect it to handle 15A.

Works exactly as expected. High quality, well made.It only provides power when you push the pedal. Like a sewing machine.I use it for my scroll saw and it really improves the cuts to be able to instantly stop the motor.

I use this for my vacuum that is attached to my miter saw three or four times a week.It is a metal switch that appears to be more durable than the plastic one I have on my other saw. The big benefit (and reason I purchased another) is it has a much longer cord to go from the power source to my foot.

This is a well-made, well-designed, and inexpensive tool. It is far better than other similar marketed switches. I use a very similar pedal for my TIG welder. It is a switch, not a speed control. I love that this is made here, and will always buy American made items when I find them. That being said, this is better than the plastic competitive switches made elsewhere. Thanks TEMCO.

Should have thought about this years ago. Struggled with making sausages with needing a third person operating the switch on and off. Now only need two persons and the machine stays clean. Easy operate pedal on and off. Long cord gets pedal to where it is needed. Totally satisfied with purchase and use.

I use this for a meat grinder and our works awesome ... No delay, it starts when you press the pedal and stops when you remove your foot. Very, very handy and much cheaper than the options from the meat grinder manufacturers.

Using this foot switch for a 1 hp Weston meat grinder. There's a delay/lag when you step on the pedal which trips the fuse on the grinder when doing an initial pass with semi frozen meat. Works great when using the stuffing attachment.

Great product, does what I need. Pedal is solid and metal with little rubber feet to help keep it still. Grounded plug is nice. I used mine to run a meat grind 'on/off' while I filled meat bags, worked great. Can't comment on longevity yet but if you need a sturdy pedal to intermittently run something, this fits the bill.
