This turned out to be a little more than I needed, but I need to state that this is a great value for the price because I've paid the same or more for much, much less in the past. The temperature control accuracy is close. I keep thermometers all throughout the room I used this in, and it stays within 2 degrees of what you ask of it. It takes a few minutes to learn the functions and settings to get your desired function, but once you figure it out, it is reliable. The hardest part of using it really is just getting to understand all the programming of the functions and temperature ranges you want.Overall, I think that anyone who has used other models like this will find that it is VERY easy to use. New people to it, will need a few more minutes. It IS reliable in that it has been a couple weeks since I got this, and it hasn't given me any indication that it will lose accuracy. For the price, it IS a GOOD deal!

Very nice with a very easy to read display and instructions that are sort of in English. I programmed it to turn on at 135 and back off at 115 and used a torch to start it up and let it turn back off. It worked well. Seems to be an RTD. The temperature range is a bit low for what I would like to use it for due to it shutting off at a bit more than 200F. Although it does work as advertised in my opinion and if nothing else it displays temperature. Seems to be made well and looks nice. If I use it a lot I will update with a longevity review. It does remember the setpoints when you power cycle it and that makes things better so that you can use an extension cord or something to program it and then install it where you need it later. All around I am impressed with how nice this is for this price point. I didn't test the timer function, doesn't seem useful for me.

I have a VERY senior dog and live in Florida. She's a 17.5yr old lab/husky mix and keeping her room cool is essential, especially this time of year. She has her own bedroom with a window unit ac that I rely on to keep her comfortable.I've been using this type of outlet for years around the house and love them, but this one is hands down the best I've used.It gives me all the relevant information and functions exactly as advertised. It also has a backlit display so I can check on her room from the doorway without disturbing her. I can see using this in a child's room, office...I mean really, just anywhere.It was plug and play to set up (more or less), and it is functioning perfectly. It's been a few days so far and I have zero complaints and plenty of good things to say.

The display is very easy to read and it is not difficult to set up for your desired task. It is nice that it can also be repurposed to alternate tasks instead of having multiple outlet types.Heat mode: my grow tent gets too cold and a small heater turns on until it gets to the upper temperatureCool mode: my network cabinet gets too hot and a fan brings in some cool air until it gets to the lower temperature(cool and heat modes are decided based on the set temperatures)Timing modes:F01 Cycle Timer: turns on ##:## amount of time then off ##:## then goes again - like running a pump for 3 minutes every hourF02 "CD ON" On Timer: countdown of the time set ##:## then device comes onF03 "CD OFF" Off timer: device stays on for ##:##F04 "CD ON CD OFF": waits for ##:## then comes on for ##:## periodThere is a 2 meter and a 5 meter remote temperature probe included. It is find of difficult to remove the plug to switch them out which means they will probably stay in well in normal use. I found the longer corded probe read 0.5F higher than the shorter one but there is a temperature correction option in the settings if you want better accuracy with either probe and you have another reliable temperature reading.In use you will see the ":" blinking while something is being timed and the blue light comes on when the outlet is on.I found after a power loss (I unplugged it) the F0# timing functions return onscreen but the timers have to be restarted with a long press of the FUN key.
