If you use reading glasses to read a book, you will never be able to see this while playing tennis!

It didn't even last a set. I had to struggle to get it in my strings. Seemed tight and snug, I was able to keep the score and it helped me focus on keeping up with the game. Then I crushed a ball. My opponent was pointing to the side and told me she saw something fly off the court. I looked and my racquet and saw my scorekeeper was missing. after a brief search I realized I should have bought a 6-pack, I'd have had more time with my money.Sorry no pictures, it didn't stay with me long enough. If you plan on hitting a ball hard then maybe a regular dampener would be better, or hey just send me your $10 and I'll enjoy that 6-pack...

I love this simple scoring device. You don't have to wear anything on your wrist and it doesn't need batteries. I'm surprised to see negative reviews. Yes it is a little difficult to get installed, but mine has never popped out. It is not difficult to turn and once set the score never changes setting on its own. After a couple of years use, one of the ridges for turning broke off. I will buy a replacement. You do have to make it a habit to record the outcome after every point. I find it is an ideal ritual to set the score and focus on my racquet for a moment after each point.

I thought that the scores would move as a result of the striking of the racket. But it just works perfectly and helps you keep the score. Great value for the price, recommended!

I also have the Scoreband 4-in-1 scorekeeping wrist band, which is what I use primarily. But I also have this shock absorber to use as a backup if I forget to wear it. Works like a charm! Some folks complained that it was tough to turn, but I didn't have any problems with that. It was however, very difficult to get on the racquet but I did prevail and I know that it will not simply fall off as it is extremely secure.

Love it, very handy in long matches when rebuilding points from memory gets hard. Would prefer the nubs to turn it be more durable, but overall a small and handy little tool. It won't last forever, will wear out, so I keep a supply in my bag.

This scorer is a great idea (attaching it directly to the racquet) but it's hard to manipulate and see. I'm constantly giving my point to my opponent or vice versa.

It's a good idea but too small. i should've checked the size (didn't think when i saw the picture), it's a tad bigger than a nickel. as i need glasses for reading, i can't see the score. so now, i have to find someone to play with who has good eyes or that can remember the score.
