I've picked up a few extra mouthpieces over the years, and more often than not, they don't come with a cap, so my ratio of mouthpieces to caps (and ligatures) is always in the wrong directly.This "salt shaker" style cap fits perfectly well with tenor hard rubber mouthpieces. I've tried it with my Saxscape Fat Cat, my old Bilger, and my Syos mouthpieces. Excellent protection at a reasonable price.

Not a lot to say. As mouthpiece caps go, this is well made of substantial metal. It's thick and correctly shaped. It won't work with your leather ligatures, but any of the standard metal ones should be fine. I've included a photo of this item next to a similar cap for an alto sax. This is definitely a tenor cap and won't work with an alto. Just FYI. Decent product.
