Very petite fan which is great for hanging in a tent or even under an umbrella. The fan has a sleak, clean design that I love. Remote is super handy. I also love the *idea* here, but this model leaves a lot to be desired. The battery life is poor. We got 1.5 hours the first time we used it and a little less the second time. I jerry-rigged it to a powerpack the third time we used it so we got better life that time around. The cord attached to the top that's used to hand the fan doesn't detach from the fan - no buckle, snap, velcro etc so we had to bring a short ball bungee to hang it. IF the cord had a way to detach, which seems like a simple fix, the fan could hang easy with no additional supplies needed. The light brightness is fine but we didn't use it to save the battery for the fan. It works great - just not long enough.

Fan works great. I like how you can remove the blades for storage and transportation. This is especially useful for camping. I haven't hung it in my tent yet, but the strap from which the fan/light hangs is sturdy. Variable speeds of fan will be helpful and the light is bright but not overwhelming. Works perfect!

This is a great idea. It just needs some work. I took this camping this past weekend when it was 87 degrees out. We NEEDED this to work in our tent. It kind of worked. A little. The fan puts out GREAT air flow at first. But the battery life just is not there. It dies very quickly - like 2 hours or less. Second, the strap for hanging it is solid, it doesn't open, snap, velcro. No way to hang it up. I had to rig a rope to hang it by, and it tangled up on itself the first time. It was not a fun experience.Like I said, this is a GREAT idea. Tents get HOT in the summer. But it just needs a little more work.

I have had a chance to use this fan several nights in a row and I am impressed. The fan is very easy to pack since the blades are not permanently attached and the central hub that holds them on is easy to put on and take off. Thankfully it is reverse threaded so it does not come loose as the fan spins. It moves a lot of air, even on the low setting, and at its highest speed it doesn't make a lot of noise. The light is a nice warm light that has an even throw. The battery seems to be lasting a while and with how much air it moves on the lowest setting I haven't had the need to keep it running on the highest speed. If you are looking for a fan to take on camping trips this is absolutely worth considering.

What a cool item! It is great for hanging on a pergola or the top of a tent. It has a light and the fan. The fan works great, moves air, and is very quiet. It also has a remote so you dont have to get up to change it. I only knock off 1 star because the item is not super packable. The fan blades are not super durable looking and it doesnt fold up. You have to unscrew the front and put the fan blades way. I am just keeping the original cardboard packaging but this doesn't seem super well thought out.

This fan is pretty good and definitely gets the job done. It's rechargeable which is really handy and it doesn't even take that long to charge, maybe an hour at most when I first got it. We used it for maybe 2 hours before it died and it took almost 4 to fully charge.... So not really an even trade when it comes to charge/use time unfortunately. The 3 speed settings are pretty powerful and the fan doesn't make a lot of noise. It is a bit smaller than I expected but still packs a punch for it's small size. The blades are simple to remove in case you have to store it away somewhere which is convenient. It's not exactly what I was expecting but all in all it gets the job done so I can't complain!

I ordered this ceiling fan to use when camping in the back of my pickup camper shell, which we tend to use for quick fishing trips. In the summer months, the air can get pretty stagnant, making it hard to sleep past 6 a.m. The fan is about the size shown in the pictures, not tiny, but it's not overly large either. It’s rechargeable, which is great when you don’t want to worry about batteries. The fan blades are detachable but easy to put on and take off for storage. It has three speed settings, and on the highest one, it moves a fair amount of air. The light also has three brightness levels and puts out a good amount of light. The remote is handy, though I do wish it had a power button to turn the whole thing off and on. I think this fan is a really good deal for the price and should be great for camping this summer.
