I keep this in the back of my van whenever I travel. Just add a tarp and you have an instant shelter where ever you go. It's super convenient to have with when you go to the park or beach and don't want to carry a full size and heavy expandable tent since the weight is under 5 pounds. It has served me well and works great for this use. I wouldn't use this is a major storm because the poles are thin and light but for setting up just to make some shade or for a light rain to cover a picnic table then this is a great option for light travel and a good value.

I use these to make temporary shades with tarps. I live in the southwest desert and shade is hard to find. In the summer I’m able to throw up a couple of poles and hook a tarp to them giving me some shade over my work area. Easy to move and store. The quality is decent though I wouldn’t keep my shades up in heavy wind or rain. All in all they are functional, versatile and easily stored.
