First off the large color screen is bright and easy to read. This makes this portable charger so much nicer than our old portable charger. You can link this Tera charger to the “Smart life app” . We do not need this functionality at the moment but we might use it at a later date. Our Tera charger came with a 110 volt to 220 volt adapter, a very nice carry bag and a wall mount adapter. If you add a Tesla to J1772 charging adapter you can charge any EV with this charger. We use this on a Tesla and a Nissan Leaf with a Tesla to J1772 charging adapter. You can easily change the power supplied by pressing the Amp button under the display. We use 32 Amp on the Tesla and only 16 Amp on the Nissan Leaf because its batteries don't like getting hot. The button on the charger's handle even opens the Tesla's charge port door like an OEM Tesla charger. It also comes with a wall kit that includes a cable holder and a control box holder. This is great for getting your cable and control box off the ground while charging. As an extra bonus they also include a carry bag and it is large enough that you don't have to roll the cable with military precision to fit the charger in the bag. I can’t speak to the longevity of this charger but so far it seems to work perfectly and doesn't get very warm while charging. This charger seems like a great budget friendly option to charge your Tesla or if you use an adapter any EV.

I've installed a number of Tera brand chargers and they've been the most reliable brand I've had experience with. At 40A this is more than enough charging speed for all but the largest EVs (if you drive a lot every day). Otherwise, any normal or even long commute will be easily charged by morning at 40A.Works perfectly.

This charger works perfectly with our Tesla, and the button to open the charge port is a great feature. The color display shows useful info, and the touch controls make adjusting amps and timers easy, though the car handles charging well on its own.The app works but isn’t necessary—Tesla manages everything just fine. What really stands out is the build quality, long cable, included accessories, and easy installation. It even comes with a 110V adapter for emergency use and fits in the subtrunk. No overheating at full 32A, and charge times matched our ChargePoint. Overall, a solid, well-priced option.

This Tera charger works great for my Tesla Model Y; it's super convenient having both NEMA 14-50 and 5-15 plugs for flexibility, especially since I sometimes charge at home and sometimes at a friend's place. The large display is a nice touch, though the price tag is pretty steep. It's definitely a worthwhile investment for reliable charging, but it's a big chunk of change.

This is an awesome, well designed charger that works really well with our Tesla vehicle. I love that the button actually works on this model to open the charge port door. There is a nice, color display that shows you info on it that is useful for understanding the amps and energy used, along with capacive buttons that function as amp selectors and timer adjustments. Super easy to just set it up to charge via the vehicle, but these are nice, quick adjustments that can be made if desired. There is an app, but honestly, it isn't really needed as the Tesla vehicle itself really can control any variables you'd adjust on the charger, including understanding how much you're paying for the power used. It isn't as functional as the Chargepoint app but that is to be expected. It is functional and does work, but not to the point that it really adds any value to the charger.I think the main draw for this is the certs that it has, along with the nice long cord and the button that actually works. It is easy to install and comes with the wall mount and cable organizer, along with a nice bag and even a stepdown for 110 outlets, turning this into an emergency charger that can actually fit in the subtrunk, a nice touch.I did not notice any excessive heat build up when using at full 32a and it managed a 20%-80% in the exact same time our Chargepoint does.Overall, the build quality is great and this is an excellent value, the whole package with a nice long cord. Highly recommended
