Dedicated overland travel requires unique spring rates to handle heavy loads and continuous mechanical resonance compared to standard coil spring rates. That’s why we paid special attention during spring rate tuning and development of our Outback Lift Coil Springs. All this adds up to our load-enhanced heavy-rate coil springs that meet the demands of a fully loaded Jeep while maintaining advertised lift height. TeraFlex JK/JKU: Lift Coil Springs are perfectly engineered for your JK/JKU Jeep Wrangler. Our engineers focused on extensive rate tuning and dynamic balance between front and rear load bias to produce Lift Coil Springs that deliver unsurpassed highway handling and off-road performance. TeraFlex chose the same tried and true linear rate technology preferred by most automakers including Jeep. Linear rate springs provide the maximum number of active coils under load for consistent performance and predictable handling throughout the full range of suspension travel both on- and off-road. We recommend pairing TeraFlex Lift Coil Springs with Falcon Performance Shocks for superior performance. TeraFlex coil springs and Falcon shock absorbers have been engineered together to improve both compression and rebound for optimal vehicle stability. Other variables will affect the actual final lift height such as a winch, aftermarket bumpers, full-size spare tire, loaded cargo weight, etc.

I originally did a 2 inch spacer lift and kept the factor ride. I thought the factor ride would be the most comfortable but I was wrong. The factory ride had a lot of body roll and off road it caused problems, especially so when loaded for camping. On road handling when loaded was terrible, always hitting the bumpers and cornered like a pontoon boat. Off road sway and bottoming out on bump stops was crazy and uncomfortable. These Teraflex springs, front and back solved all that and I paired them up with the Falcon 2.1 shocks. They gave me about 1.5 inches more lift than the spacer lift did, the old factory springs probably had sagged some. The shocks are unbelievable and handle on road and off road amazingly well, it's like driving a completely different vehicle. Definitely worth doing, you will not miss the factory ride,,, you will wonder why you didn't ditch it sooner.

I have a 2010 Wrangler JKU with a LS v8 plus a solid bumper! It holds up to the weight no issues. More of a street set up but could for slower off-roading

Gave my lift its life back, got rid of sagging 2 1/2” coils. Rides a lot smoother.
