Adorable and works great.These things are too cute and colorful. They seem to be releasing the water slowly and steadily. Love them. I put mine in my outdoor plant pots because I tend to forget to water them more often.

Soak these before putting them into the plants. These work with and without a bottle. Easy to set up. Keeps plants watered. These look really novel and adds character to the garden. Seems durable.

These olla pots are helpful for keeping potted plants hydrated between waterings. You bury the pot in your soil next to the plant, fill it with water, and place the cork in the opening, then the water seeps to the root area as needed.These particular pots are nice because the tops are glazed, which helps prevent water loss from the exposed areas of clay above the soil. I find them to be of good quality, and they do provide moisture for a day or two when fully filled.I do wish the corks fit the openings a little better, it’s hard to tell if it’s the uneven opening of the pot, or the cork isn’t the proper shape. I imagine that once they fully saturate the corks might swell some to make a tighter fit. I feel these are a fair price for 4 pots, very comparable to others.

I have been using terracota watering devices for many years now - I swear by them, as they keep my plants alive when I’m out of town for weeks. And these ones are so cute!That said, the bottom part of them is quite short as you can see in the photo. Most of the terracota “plant nannies” I have used prior have a longer bottom parts that reach and irrigate deep into the plant pot. Also, having a longer bottom part helps with keeping the plant nanny steady if you put an upside down, big bottle of water in it.So, since these are so short, I’m going to use them in “lower maintenance” plant pots, like succulents, for example… since they don’t need as much water, these types of plants should be okay with this “shorter kind” of watering terracota.I must mention that they were exceptionally packaged, which is great! I’ve bought other kinds before and because they were not so well packaged, they’d arrive broken. These arrived in pristine condition.Overall, I’d give it 4.5 out of 5 stars if I could!

These little guys are a lot bigger than I expected (a positive IMO) and very easy to set up. They look super cute in my garden! They do require a decent amount of empty space, so I wouldn't recommend them for small planters. I'm planning on getting some small terracotta saucers to place on top so the ones I have outdoors won't drown any bugs or become mosquito nurseries.

I hoard watering spikes. What can I say? I have a ton of houseplants and a separate room to house some in order to keep my three cats from destroying them. The ones in the room suffer the most so I don't always remember to go in to water them but now that I started utilizing self watering spikes, I don't stress as much trying to bring them back from the brink of death. That being said, these nerdy watering spikes are so cute with the glasses and faces on them.To use, soak the spike for about 15 minutes and while they are soaking, water the plants they will be used in. After the spike has been soaked, insert into soil and fill with water. As the soil dries out, water will leach out of the spike to moisten the soil.

I barely got them unpacked before I knew I eould love them. They are so whimsical and cute.They are decently sized ar 5.7" tall and the Terra cotta clay is thick enough so you don't feel like you will break it.I love the open head where you put the water in. Now knowing when to water my plants will be so much easier.Super cute!
