Wasn’t expecting the “bling” of the chrome bezels on the fans. That little touch makes these look fairly fancy for what they are. These fans pack a lot of functionality into a little funky unit. The flexibility of the individual fans make positioning the fan “a breeze”.I’ve only tested them outside the box and have not installed them yet. I’ll update this review with real world feedback once they’re installed. So far I’m pretty please with them. They look like they’ll circulate A LOT more air than the single fan they’re replacing. Should add better cooling the to back of my vehicle.

The DICMKY Dual Head Car Back Seat Fan is an excellent solution for improving air circulation in your vehicle, especially if you have passengers who often complain about the heat, like my youngest. Its dual-head design and 360° flexible adjustment offer great coverage, directing airflow precisely where needed for both rear passengers.Performance and Features :This fan is surprisingly powerful, exceeding my expectations. It has three speed settings, and even at the highest setting, the adjustable necks allow it to effectively cool someone not directly behind the fan. A major plus is its quiet operation; it produces only about 30 dB on the lowest setting, which is barely noticeable when the car is moving. While some noise becomes apparent at higher speeds, even on the highway, it's generally unobtrusive. The fan boasts a well-designed clip that opens, slides onto the seat back or cover, and then tightens with a spinning wheel for a secure, stable fit. This was a relief, as I was initially concerned about it clipping onto my Model Y's seat protectors.Installation and Minor Drawbacks:Installation is generally straightforward. However, the effectiveness of the mounting hooks can vary. They work best with car seats that have pronounced lips or folds; flatter seats might present some challenges for a secure fit.The included USB-C cable is functional, but it's a bit thin and short at 3 feet. The right-angled connector can also limit placement options if your power source isn't close by. I've also noticed the cable gets a bit warm during use, and its thinness makes me worry about its durability, especially with people frequently getting in and out of the car. Despite these minor points, the fan easily plugs into the USB port under the vents in the Model Y, making it very convenient. I was able to use this on the go with my portable battery pack.

We don't own a Tesla, but I chose this back seat fan because it is not as bulky as others and can be adjusted to rest flat against the seat (and therefore out of the way) in two seconds when it's not in use. I could have really done without the woefully-outdated chrome look, but other than that, it's a nice fan.Our vehicle does not have a "seat back gap" (whatever that is), but this fan attaches just fine to our beefy seat back pocket. The USB-C connector is recessed into the fan -- this is a good feature that will prevent damage if somebody's arm or leg gets snagged when entering/leaving the vehicle, but it comes with a downside: most of the cables I already own don't fit. A USB-C to USB-C cable is included, so make sure you don't misplace it.As a fan, it does what fans do: it moves air and it makes noise, with the latter being a necessary evil of small fans that spin fast. In our vehicle, low speed is enough to maintain a nice breeze in the back seat with minimal noise that does not hinder conversation between the front and back seats. Medium speed noise is acceptable with no conversation and music playing at a responsible volume, and high speed noise is a bit annoying, so we've been avoiding it altogether, and I hope we won't need it even when the worst of summer comes. The most convenient feature is use of gooseneck adjustment arms. Without the constraints of traditional joints, it's easy to aim each fan precisely where you need it. The goosenecks can be adjusted with very little effort (which is good for kids), but it can also be a bad thing depending on the terrain. On a recent drive down an unpaved and bumpy road, both fans drooped out of place pretty quickly -- it was a one-off drive for us, so it's not a problem, but I definitely wouldn't recommend this if such roads are part of your daily commute. This is a good fan that is priced fairly at its current $23 price, and should work well for you if you drive primarily on smooth roads.

I recently installed this dual-head backseat fan in my Tesla Model Y, and it is a hit with my rear seat passengers. The fan attaches securely to the front seat headrest posts using adjustable hooks, making installation simple and tool-less. Its dual 360° rotatable heads allow for precise airflow direction, putting air where it is needed. The fan operates with three speed settings, providing flexibility depending on individual preferences. Additionally, the built-in USB-C cable and compatibility with various power sources, including power banks, enhance its convenience. One of the best parts is its quiet operation, which doesn't interfere with conversations or music, maintaining a quiet cabin environment. While the fan circulates air, it doesn't cool the air, so its performance is best when used in conjunction with the vehicle's air conditioning system.Bottom Line: This dual-head backseat fan is a good addition for Tesla Model Y owners who have family that like extra air blowing on them. It helps reduce the need for AC making efficiency better. Its easy installation, adjustable airflow, and quiet operation make it practical for improving air flow in the backseat, keeping everyone happy.
